After nearly three decades, FC and EA Sports have parted ways. That means that following the release of FC 25. all titles from EA Sports will compete against FC 25 Ultimate Teamure FC titles. While EA Sports already has a framework to work with, FC 25 Coins will be looking toward other publishers to work on FC 25 Ultimate Teamure titles. For FC games to successfully compete against EA Sports FC, however, it will need to include new game modes and improve existing ones to attract new fans.
FC 25 has been criticized for having game modes that are either too repetitive or do not have any significant changes when compared to older titles in the series. As a result, many fans of the game are hoping that once FC starts releasing its own games with a new publisher, it will focus on improving these game modes and adding in modes that players have never played before. From the World Cup to Street Soccer, there are many game modes that could elevate FC 25 Ultimate Teamure FC titles to become real competitors of EA Sports and shake up the soccer genre.
The FC World Cup is consistently the most-watched sporting event in the world with over a billion people tuning in to watch the final every four years. Since FC will always own the rights to the World Cup, including a game mode where fans can play through the tournament, both online and offline, would be a great addition to the FC 25 Ultimate Teamure games. This game mode will not be available through EA Sports games and its success could prove to be one of the main factors that attract new fans to FC 25 Ultimate Teamure FC titles.
A World Cup game mode could easily be included in the Career Mode options by giving fans the choice to pick a national team to manage. In the real world, managers are not allowed to coach both national teams and a club-level team, and adding this option to Career Mode would be a great way to not only improve the immersion of the game but also give fans a new experience as they will need to scout players and pick the best team for each international tournament. It will also add some variety to the other two Career Mode options as fans can retire their buy Fut 25 Coins player and work their way from a club-level manager to the head coach of one of the top international teams.
