Psalm 91 For Now

We are in a Time of the Corona Virus. Life has taken a change for the worst in a lot of peoples lives. Loss of loved ones, loss of jobs, loss of relationship and family time even. You may feel hopeless and definitely lonely.

FEAR seems to be what most people are focused one while watching and listening to the news. Fear brings torment. No wonder you are afraid to leave the house, and you feel as though all life is about at a standstill or even lost.

I totally understand because I am home on Furlough. I have been out of work for almost 4 months at the time of this Blog Post. I have purchased many Masks and practice safety whenever I go out into a store or around lots of people I know I have to use my protection. Hand sanitizers, Lysol, clean the house more. I even had to have the carpet cleaned which is about 80% of the entire house which is costly.

I still have a car payment, car insurance, Loans to payoff, Rent, Electric and gas, food, house hold supplies, etc. You may wonder how do I hold up under pressure? Well I turn to the Word of God.

Psalm 91 has taught me somethings in this trying time. Refuge-A person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster. Refuge-A condition of being safe or sheltered from pursuit, danger or trouble.

The Lord is keeping me Safe from danger so that I am safe. fortress-A military stronghold especially a strongly fortified town fit for a large garrison. Not susceptible to outside influence or disturbance.

He shall deliver me from the snares Traps, and Deceptiveness. From noisome pestilence. People can set snares and lie in wait for the kill. Noisome-Offensive, disgusting, harmful, extremely unpleasant.

Pestilence-A fatal epidemic disease'

Plague-A deadly and overwhelming disease that affects the entire community.

He shall cover me with His feathers. Under His wings shall I trust. His truth shall be my shield and buckler.

Don't be afraid for the terror by night nor for the arrow that fly's by day. Nor for the pestilence that walk in darkness, nor the destruction that waste at non day.

A 1000 shall fall at thy side and 10,000 at thy right hand but it shall not come nigh thee.

Know that no matter what is going on in this world at the present time that the Lord shall protect those that put their trust in Him. Don't live in Fear, but in Faith; knowing that the Lord is watching over His word to perform it in your life.

Psalm 91 Is an amazing chapter in the Bible that will truly offer you hope in these trying time, Hold on and don't lose hope. Help is on the way.

PRAYER; Lord Jesus. Comfort All who reads this post. Help them to not fear in this trying time. Help them to trust you no matter what it looks like. Hold them close to you. Shield them from all hurt, harm and danger seen and unseen.

Give them a praying spirit, a mind to run to your word. A mind to seek your face. A mind to put their trust in you and not into the circumstance at hand. For your perfect love for us cast out all worry, fear, doubt and unbelief. Help those that read this that don't quite have that faith in you to experience a personal encounter with you so that they know that they know that they know that you are real and you really do love them and only have their best interest at heart.

Run to the Source of Life's Problems. That source is Jesus Christ. The hope of glory. May the Lord bless you and keep you in His divine hands and shower you with His continuous love. Amen.
