Today is my Wedding Anniversary Day. Been together for 13 years and married for 11 years. God has been sure enough good to us both. We have definitely come a long way within our marriage. Weave had a lot of rough spots where we thought that it would end in divorce during the first 2 months of our marriage, but the Lord taught us how to survive in tough times, which was very hard.
Every Marriage isn't a bed of roses. No we were banging. arguing, fighting, yelling, and literally cursing each other out. But God has another plan, and his plan is best. Nobody ever thought that we would stay together anyone because they said that we are too opposite. Well I am 9 years older than he is. I am now age 60. He is age 51. Well He still loves me and even still asks where I am or who is on the phone acting a little jealous still. Must feel good to know that I got it like that still.
God is the Glue that keeps us together. Like He said from the beginning; If you keep me in the middle of your marriage, it can never fail. The only way it can fail is if you keep the devil in the middle, Pray and Stay. Work together. Love one another and forgive one another, Compromise and Listen, I mean really listen to each other and have some compassion.
Have Fun Together. Laugh Together. Listen to music together, Take a walk together. Stay Connected with the Source which is Jesus. The Glue that keeps us.
Even if He is sleeping. Pray for Him. God knows his weaknesses and so do you. But God can break every addiction and habit. There is nothing too hard for God. Burn everything out of him that is not like you King Jesus until He becomes the man that you desire for him to become. God I thank you that you are Faithful that promised. For you are a promise keeper.
God is my hiding place. I love you Jesus and know that it is only by your Grace and Mercy that you see us through daily. Thank you Jesus for Longevity in marriage through the Good and the Rough times. #MrsDonna
