Jamaica is a place that I would like to visit one day. Learned a lot about it from the movie "How Stella Got Her Groove Back" Angela Bassett played in it. Jamaica is a Caribbean island nation, has a lush topography of mountains, rain forests and reef-lined beaches, Many of its all-inclusive resorts are clustered in Montego Bay, with its British-colonial architecture, and Negril, known for its driving and snorkeling sites. Jamaica is famed as the birthplace of reggae music, and its capital Kingston is home to the Bob Marley Museum, dedicated to the famous singer.
Africa is the world's second largest and second most populous continent, after Asia. Africa is the worlds hottest continent with deserts and dry lands covering 60% of land surface area Kalahari, Sahara and Namib. Africa has 30% of the earths remaining mineral resources.
Languages in Africa are Arabic, Somali, Barber, Amharic, Oromo, Igbo, Swahili, Hausa, Manding, Fulani, and Yoruba are spoken by tens of millions of people. Twelve dialect clusters which may group up to a hundred linguistic varieties are spoken by 75%, and fifteen by 85% of Africans as a first or additional language.
I've never been to Africa but I sure do know that they look like they are related to me. My mom said that in my Genealogy it goes back to Ghana Country in West Africa the Republic of Ghana is a country along the Gulf of Guinea and the Atlantic Ocean, in the sub region of West Africa, Guinea, only a few degrees north of the Equator, giving it a warm climate. Not sure if I would be used to the heat, but I would love to meet some of the people and learn from them.
Peru is a Country in South America that's home to a section of Amazon rain forest and Machu Picchu, an ancient incan city high in the Andes mountains, The region around Machu Picchu, including the Sacred Valley, Inca Trail and colonial city of Cusco, is rich in archaeological sites, On Peru's arid Pacific coast is Lima, the capital with a perserved colonial center and important collections of pre-Columbian Art.
I had a dream one day of landing in Peru on a plane and I saw people who looked like Spanish speaking people and I had never even heard of the place before. I woke up ran to the encyclopedia and found Peru and sure enough those people looked like the people in my dream, so I always was curious of why I dreamed of going to Peru.
Hollywood California a place that I want to visit one day. Maybe get to see Famous People and just enjoy California period.
Atlanta Georgia. I want to visit as well. It is the Capital of Georgia. It plays an important part in both the Civil War and the 1960's Civil Rights Movement. Atlanta History Center chronicles the city's past, and the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site is dedicated to the African-American leader's life and times.
