Delayed But Not Denied

There are so many delays in life. Whether you are waiting on the Bus to get to work, the train, cab, someone to pick you up or there is a big traffic jam that has you waiting in a long line and you are now running late for work or your appointment. This can seen very disappointing to many.

Habakkuk 2:3 For still the vision awaits it's appointed time; it hastens to the end. It will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should receive repentance.

Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

It seems like you are waiting forever for a change, but don't quit on the promise. God will never fail you like people. Hold on to his promise. Every Vision or Dream that he has shown you will yet come to pass. He won't build you up for a let down. Don't be disappointed. God hasn't forgotten you.

PRAYER; Lord Jesus, with all that is going on in this world, it is hard to trust anything, because there are so many delays in life, so many problems, and rejections in life. So many broken promises from people to the point where you don't believe anything until you see it. But you Lord will not do me wrong. Even thought I don't yet see what it is that I am waiting on, I do see it by FAITH. I still hope and wait on the promise. I trust that your words are true and you are not building me up for a let down. I know you see the need and you will come through for me like you PROMISED. Thank you Lord, for I will wait until my change comes. It seems delayed but I know you won't deny me of the promise. I love you Jesus Christ.
