Drugs Destroy Lives

DRUGS DESTROY LIVES. I KNOW YOU THINK THAT YOU NEED THEM TO COPE WITH LIFE, BUT GOD WANTS YOU TO TURN TO HIM AND NOT THE TEMPORARY FIX.

I dreamed last night of someone running from the Police in a car. Hitting other cars just to escape from the police, because they believe that the police saw them doing a drug transaction and they were scared and worried because they didn't want to go back to jail. I was thinking about this dream and decided to write about this subject because it could save someone from going through this very issue.

If you are struggling and need money in a hurry, please think before you use drugs as a second income or you feel that you may even need to resort to your past to escape the problems that you may be facing. Drugs can't cure you and is only a temporary high or fix that leads one back to an addiction that is a repeated cycle once you body gets used to it.

Stop running from the Law/Police and run to God. Run to someone who can help you with the problem or situation that is causing you to feel that you need a fix. Don't try to fix your own problems or situations. We are struggle with things from time to time but running to something that is against the law will one day come back to bite you in the rear-end.

You maybe struggling, but pray first. Sit still long enough think about another solution to the problem. You are worth fighting for. You are good enough. You are intelligent. Nothing is too hard for God to fix in your life. Enough is Enough! It's time for a change in the right direction. Try God. He will never let you down or disappoint you. He has brought you this far for a reason.

Thank the Lord for waking you up to see a new day. Thank him for Life. Ask him to lead you and direct your footsteps now. Ask him to help you now. Cause somebody to come into your pathway or midst and help you, You are never alone. Whatever is eating at you; God is more than able to see you through. Run to the Source. Run to the Bible. Stop Running from the Lord. He is your very present help in times of trouble.

Psalm 46 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. The reality is that there will be difficult times, but God promises to be our refuge.
