DO YOU HAVE TRUE PEACE OF MIND?
What is Peace of Mind? Inner Peace refers to a deliberate state of psychological or spiritual calm despite the potential presence of stressors such as the burden arising.
What are you thinking about? Are you worried about anything? Are the kids plucking your last nerve? Are your finances in order? Do you need a home? Job? Health Issues? There are many things that can rob you of your peace of mind.
Worry gives way to anxiety or unease; allow one's mind to dwell on difficulty or troubles. A state of anxiety and uncertainty over actual or potential problems.
Are you stressing over a situation? You can't handle it? It's about to drive you crazy? Well, we have all had that happen to us. But the solution to that worry is that it is robbing you of your peace of mind. You will never have lasting peace by worrying about a situation, but rather pray about it instead.
Give that burdensome situation over to the Lord. You can't fix it, but the Lord can. You have to renew your mind daily with the Word of God. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. Think about those things that bring about a good report. The fruits of the Spirit. Cast all of your cares upon the Lord for He cares about whatever it is that you are facing.
John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. Psalm 4:8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 72:7 In his days may the righteous flourish, and peace abound, till the moon be no more!
Daniel 10:19 And he said, O man greatly loved, fear not, peace be with you; be strong and of good courage. And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, Let my Lord speak, for you have strengthened me.
Let God's Word lead, guide, and direct your footsteps. Let him help you. He is waiting for you to call on him, and he will answer you and show you great and mighty things, that you know not of. Give it to him and stop trying to fix it. God loves you and only wants his best for you.
